It is with deep regret the MCVFA announces the passing of MCVFA Past President Royer Pfersick. On April 6, 2025, visitation will be at the Merton Kays Funeral Home 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls from 1-3pm ending with a brief service, then reception at the Rush Fire Department 1971 Rush- Mendon Road in Rush.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Diana and the rest of the family.
The MCVFA is excited to announce that we will be sponsoring a bus trip to the 2025 NYSAFC Expo. This package includes round trip transportation, light breakfast on the bus, and a buffet dinner at Finger Lakes Race Track. The cost will be $10 per member and $12 for non members. Read the flyer to see if you qualify. The trip is limited to the first 30. If we get more applicants we may get a larger bus. The application is linked below.
The next regular meeting of the MCVFA will be April 16, 2025 at the PSTF, Room 107. The Topic will be Deputy Stephen Williams from the MCSO talking on responder awareness for arson fires or criminal activity.
The dinner meeting starts at 6:30 pm with a light dinner with the meeting to follow.
