Mike was a Past President of the Webster Fire Department, member of the Red Knights, and was currently serving as 1st Vice President of the MCVFA.

Gerald J. Hendrickson
Past MCVFA 4th Battalion Director – Clifton FDDecember 16, 2009.
Gerald was a member of the Clifton Fire Department for 45 years, where he served as Chief. He was a member of the Chili Grange for almost 60 years, and a member of the Chili American Legion, member of the Western NY Volunteer Firemen’s Association and Past Director of the MCVFA.

Richard “Dick” Coon
Past MCVFA 5th Battalion Director – West Brighton FDAugust 30, 2009, at age 80.
Richard was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. with 39 years of service. He was a life member of 58 years with the West Brighton Fire Dept. Past Director and member of the Monroe County Volunteer Firemen’s Assoc., life member of the Monroe County Volunteer Fire Chiefs Assoc., Firemen’s Assoc. of the State of New York, Monroe County Fire Police Assoc., NYS Fire Police Assoc. and the Rochester Model Railroad Club.

Donald H. Fox
MCVFA President 1984 -1986 – Fairport FDApril 8, 2009.
Past President Fox was employed by Rochester Telephone for 42 years and was a member of Rochester Protectives. He was a long-time member and Secretary of the Fairport Fire Department and the DeLand Hose Company #1. Don was also a member of FASNY, NCNYVFA, WNYVFA, NYS Chaplain Assoc., Past Trustee of the Fireman’s Home on the Hudson and the Secretary of FASNY Museum of Firefighting. Don was a Past President of the MCVFA and for many years was also the Chairman of the Monroe County Fire Prevention Essay Contest.

Richard Elmer
MCVFA Past 4th Battalion Director – Gates-Chili FDAugust 15, 2008, at age 73.
Dick was a 47 year member of the Gates Chili Volunteer Fire Department,House #2, social member of the Spencerport Fireman Exempt Club, an active volunteer with many police organizations, a member of the International Harvester NYS Chapter #35, an Army veteran and a member of Belmont American Legion Post #808, an avid Miami Dolphin and NASCAR fan.

Edward J. “Red” VerWeire
Monroe County Executive Deputy Fire Coordinator – Gates-Chili FDDecember 13, 2007
Red was Executive Deputy Fire Coordinator for the Monroe County Fire Bureau, Past Chief and Commissioner of the Gates Fire District, Past Executive Committee member for FASNY, member of the Gates Fire District Exempts, WNYVFA, NCVFA, and MCVFA.

Raymond J. Emma
MCVFA President 1994-1996 – St. Paul FDNovember 14, 2007, age 64
Ray was a Past Chief of the St. Paul Blvd. Fire Association, President of the Northern Central Volunteer Firemen’s Association, Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Western New York Volunteer Firemen’s Association, Chairman of the Fire Prevention Committee for the MCVFA and a member of the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York (FASNY) FIre Prevention Committee.

George Clohessy
MCVFA Director 2007 – Gates-Chili FDOctober 1, 2007, at age 62
George was a lifetime member of the Gates-Chili Fire Dept for 37 years, a Committee Member of Gates-Chili Fire Explorers, and Director of Monroe County Volunteer Fireman’s Association.

Earl Robertson North
MCVFA President 1986-1988 – Gates-Chili FDSeptember 5, 2007
Bob, who retired from the Dept. of Health, Education and Welfare, Social Security Administration, was a member and Past President of the Gates Chili Fire Dept.; member and Past President of the Monroe County Volunteer Fireman’s Assoc.; member and Officer of Kenmore, NY Volunteer Fire Dept.; and a member of the Northern Central, Western and Southwestern Volunteer Firemen’s Assoc.; the Firemen’s Assoc., of the State of New York (FASNY); Western NY Drill Team Assoc.; Waken-Hubbard Masonic Lodge, Damascus Temple and a Shriner.

William Bostian
MCVFA Past 1st Vice President – West Webster FDAugust 6, 2005
Bill was a past MCVFA Board of Director and 1st Vice President. Bill was also a Past Captain of the West Webster Fire Department and eventually a Lieutenant of the West Webster Fire Police. Unfortunately, Bill suffered a Line of Duty Death (LODD). He is being honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
